Accommodation and facilities:
This hotel is really a quiet place. Very good for relaxing. But there is nothing good around the area for shopping, eating and sightseeing in a radius of 3 km. So you really need a motorcycle. The Beach is not so good for swimming because of rocks and many sea urchins in the sea. But you can use the very nice and clean swimming pool.

we enjoyed our stay at the Loyfa Nature Resort so much that we even extended our stay! + great restaurant, clean rooms, cleaning on demand, friendly staff, nice pool - there are more beautiful beaches in the area than the private beach. rent a bike and explore them! - the billing was a bit messy. as we paid our breakfast/dinner the next day, we sometimes had items on our room no which we did not spent. be careful with that.

Love this Place!!! Very friendly staff at Loyfa Resort, they made us feel like in a family! Great bungalows with view to the ocean, great pool, nice restaurant with good thai and western food.

Accommodation and facilities:
Nice peaceful location. Just a 150 Baht pp taxi ride to Koh Ma (Best snorkeling spot: see where boat drops snorkelers). Three beaches (Haad Salad etc) north of Loyfa also easily reachable by public taxi. Food is excellent at Loyfa.

Loyfa Nature Resort
a has 20 rooms and a big plot of land with its own small beach and a
full variety of different bungalows, mostly on the hillside, some on
the beach, all with great views. You can rent fair-sized rooms with
fans, concrete ones with seaviews and there are some larger bungalows
on the beach. All bungalows come with private bathroom, seaviews, balcony
and a friendly smile.
Laem Srithanu is a volcanic island that has been joined to Koh Phangan
by a strip of coconut pasture that meets with the village of Srithanu.
It has formed a fertile peninsula that lies between the bays of Ao Hin
Kong and Ao Srithanu, thus the small and secluded beaches that populate
its coastline are closer to the coral reef, leading to virtually year
round swimming. At low tide its possible to circum-navigate Laem Srithanu
and find your own little piece of paradise, perfect for secluded sunbathing
or finding a good spot for fishing off the rocks.
There is a laid back and unique atmosphere to the area, partly as Laem
Srithanu is almost its own island and because there are only five resorts
on the peninsula. Quiet though it is, action is not far away in the
'mainland' village of Srithanu, only a 500 metre walk through the coconut
groves.
ACCOMMODATION
Loyfa Nature Resort is a family-run bungalow resort and the business
has been running for years, so you can expect a warm welcome and excellent
standards. The resort is bang on top of the mountain with panoramic
views around Srithanu Bay. The bungalows are all well-spaced and set
around lush tropical gardens to keep a feeling of privacy.

A short walk down the hill and to the beachfront there is a row of bungalows
and a small private beach suitable for swimming and snorkeling. There
is also a large grass area for badminton and volleyball for those inclined
to more than lounging in the hammock! It is also possible to do some
fishing off the rocks.
