酒店非常原生态，到处有各种生物，如果怕虫子，不推荐。房间挺好的，虽然房间相较价格不算很好，但是酒店本身的位置，餐厅，服务弥补了这一缺陷。前台check in的时候，服务人员态度不够好，不过看了旁边的工作人员和离店时候的工作人员，觉得是那个人个人问题。如果天气晴朗，傍晚时一定要去starlight餐厅，无敌晚霞海景，太美好了。吃饭两个人300人民币以内。酒店有免费的浮潜用具出借。

Charm Churee was kind enough to come and collect us from our other hotel and transferred us to their without any extra costs. When we arrived at Charm Churee we were not very happy with our room as we had booked sea views. There was no sea views as the trees had grown over the view area. They were happy to move us into another room however we did have to pay extra. The view from our bamboo hut was breathtaking. We loved the setting and being so close to nature. The breakfast provided met our expectations as well as variety to meet all tastes. We did not use the restaurant facilities as we preferred to eat off site and supported the local community. The private beach was a real treat, the Spa and the ladies in the Spa really made us feel special and treated us well.

Charm Churee is near by the Pier, and walk around 8mins to town. Close to dive point. Stay here is more easy to do everything you want. Whatever diving of snorkeling. Nice service, beautiful room, great breakfast. Here is very quite during the night, you can join here a lot.

它的自有海滩非常棒，走到海里，水过小腿时就有大量的鱼围过来，一点不怕人，水里能看见海参，水质非常好。浮潜非常好，器具酒店都免费提供的。还可以租条小船自己划出海，一天也只要25元人民币，提供救生衣。 租的是sunset villa,房间号25，千万不要住这个房间，有白蚁，桌上永远都是白木屑，恐怖的要命。房间没有电视。景色是好，泰式装潢，房间很大。但是真是住不惯啊。 建议住beach villa，好像很好。而且价钱便宜，就在海滩上。 beach边上的餐厅味道不错，女服务员对白人老外特别热情，对中国人很一般，但是其他服务员都没有这样。 酒店的甲板上的餐厅非常漂亮，很有氛围，连着两天都在那里吃饭。并不贵。 从酒店有路直通镇上，15分钟，很好走。

Expensive for what it offers. Pros: 2 nice beaches and a nice restaurant on a platform overlooking the see (but expensive!!). Cons: the first room was really ugly decorated, far from the beach and you could hear the noise from the disco on the next beach. We changed for a bungalow after the first night, much quieter but far too rustic for the price: huge spiders in the room, huge lizard too (but we did not mind and they offered to remove it). Not child friendly as it s on the hills. And they made us pay breakfast while it was already paid in the booking. Disappointing.

Very kind staff with smiles on their faces all the time. Starlight restaurant is great, atmosphere and cuisine. Beach is small and sand is sharp, not good for children to play on. But the bay is great for snorkeling, with variaties of fishes and some coral, actinia. Facilities are acceptable, since only traditional Thai wooden houses provided. Most unhappy: The safe provided is extremely complicated to operate and force you to give it up. I leave wallet in the safe unlocked, and I checked it when I got to Koh Samui the next day, found one of the two USD 100 notes missing, if Thai baht notes missing unknown, since no exact count. I did not contact Charm Churee for this, it s just no use, since I had no prove, and I did leave the safe open. The lesson is always lock safe, no matter how complicated it is:) Hope Charm Churee might replace their safes with easy-to-use ones, like the ones of Samui Paradise Chaweng, in which hotel I spent 3 days this time.

满不错的酒店，有一个比较浅的可以潜泳的海湾有很多小鱼。酒店有几种装修风格的房间，傍晚或者早上在露台上吹吹风看看海，比较适意。酒店晚餐厅里的冬阴功汤很棒，有3条很大的虾。好吃推荐！

Charm Churee is a fantastic rustic bamboo bungalow family friendly hotel. The food was great, the staff were ever so friendly and helpful and we certainly enjoyed all the extras such as the free snorkelling equipment on the beach (and what a beach!). Being able to hire ATVs right from the hotel at a very competitive price was brilliant too. We had a fantastic time in Koh Tao staying at Charm Churee.

My favourite hotel in Thailand! I have been to Thailand 5 times in the past 4 years and know the islands very well and Charm Churee is my favourite. I love this hotel so much that I recently got married at the resort and it was beyond expectations..it was perfect. The entire staff are remarkably special people - they are freindly, helpful and you leave there not only with fond memories but also new friends. I will continue to return to this amazing place every year to celecbrate my annaversary. P.S. for a couple looking for a romantic spot book room 34 on the rocks....the most stunning room!

In the web site, the hotel seems to be beautiful, the room s pictures were so nice... but is not the reality ! the bugalow are very old , the recoration is kitch , the bathroom are old fashion. and the rate are very expensive regardind the quality of service and the amenities. we ve paid 3500bath for a simple bedroom! it s very expensive for koh Tao, at this price we expect to have more luxe. Everything are dark, no light, to many trees outside. we have to walk long time to go to the beach, the sun deck are very old , also the towels, (there are no POOL). The staff don t speack english, ( birman staff). and the prise at the restaurant are very expensive ( order Thai food 1200bath/2 pers), it s better to go to eat outsite , only 10 min from the pier,( use the small road). We definitly don t recommand this hotel !

We went there out of season and the staff and the location were excellent. We originally booked a beach cottage but didn´t like this quite small and dark cottage very much. So we asked for a Sunset Cottage which was fabulous with a stunning sunset view and enough space for a family. The hotel is in a beautiful small bay and we were all stunned by the amazing snorkelling. Would go definitely back there. We walked to town every night as there are some quite nice and cheap restaurants.

We were very disappointed. We paid 100 Euro (low season) for the night and experienced the following: No fins allowed for snorkling (as coral protection measurement), rooms designed with dark wood and almost no light (much too dark), rooms actually fairly old, doors from the open air bathroom to the sleeping room were not closing properly enough for keeping insects out, cockroach on the minibar menue, no pool, beach is a bit of a up/down walk as everything in that accomodation (which was not a problem for us, but may still be worth mentioning), rooms smelly, it felt a bit like provisional . The breakfast was ok, but on the wooden mat used for your plate, small insects were busy removing the meal from your predecessor... One more to mention: Yes, they offer wifi internet (which only works at the reception), but they ve blocked any ports except www (so no ssh, vpn...). So: When they say rustic , they really mean it :) And it s ok, but not for that amount of money!

It was love on second sight! The care of the staff towards their guests was very individual and overwhelming. Many thanks to the Burmese Staff, they are making their job better and more enthusiastically then anybody I have seen before. The resort is set in a beautiful hidden bay, that reminds to the Maldives. The old bungalows seem a bit run down, but still they´ve got a charming character. The resort management is intending to open the Bamboo Villas next year, which are belonging to the same resort. These bungalows are just perfect and beautifully with a fascinating outdoor bathroom set inside a romantic beach scenery. We will come again!

Paradise!!! We just loved it!Dont expect 7 star city slick and polish, do expect a great holiday with happy friendly staff, charming rustic apartments, beautifully appointed, lots of little extras,good aircon in bed rooms (must have!) lovely private outdoor bathroom (or another inside if you prefer) Ours also had stair way down to sea and amazing snorkelling. A nice walk to ferry wharves and good size village, plenty of shops, restaurants etc. Contrary to what we were told there are vehicles,motor bikes and 4 wheelers for hire and taxi utes everywhere. Every sort of accomodation, medical help (but not hospital)Hotel has small safe special little beach swarming with fish. At night you can have candle lit dinner right there on the beach. There are hills, steps and the odd creature, but that was part of the wonderful holiday we had there. One of the best, Thank You Charm Churee

We enjoyed our holidays at charm churee at a small nice privat beach. The room, a large bamboo hut, was excellent and much better than expected. The staff was very helpful and extremly friendly. Stay 2 night to sunset seaview 2 bedrooms of bamboo hut (this is new open with LCD & DVD ), 3 minutes walk from janson bay and 5-10 minutes by shuttle bus to reception. The rooms with great sunset view but wave is loud at every night. Breakfast is good with great location and view. Many fishes in Janson bay for snorkeling.

We booked a deluxe room on the beach and spent three nights being woken by the sound of our neighbours walking around their room above. This was simply because of the primitive build quality. The resort charges guests to use a tiny beach which they claim is private. All beaches in Thailand are sovereign property, I believe. Charm Churee does have rustic charm but the resort is very over-rated in their descriptions and very over-priced for their standards.

This is just a great place to stay on honeymoon. Charm Churee is magnificant, best I ever visit. I will recommend Cottage on the Beach. But if you are afraid of gekkos, snakes etc you should choose a normal hotelroom. Charm also offer this.

Останавливаюсь в этом отеле второй раз. До этого была три года назад. Отель меняется только к лучшему - построили новое здание бара на пляже и новый двухуровневый корпус ресторана с видом на море. Новый корпус для ресепшн. Территория отеля большая - расстояние между виллами комфортное. Все цветет, по деревьям белки прыгают -красота! Жили в стандартном номере - все новое, чистое и приятное, места для двоих достаточно. Рекомендую.

很自然的酒店，依山而建，但因此虫蚁比较多。酒店的私人海滩JASON BAY异常美丽，不用走很远，就可以浮潜看到很多不同种类的鱼。有小道可以走去码头，但是上上下下的道路，走起来蛮累的。

I told them we re on honeymoon through sawadee.com. But we did not find any specific things like flowers or fruits in our room. It seems that they prepared our room in a hurry and forgot this. Except this, everything is good. I booked the cottage 1 on the beach. It s just 20 steps from the sea. Very good.

The location of the resort is absolutely fabulous. private beach, great snorkeling, very nice and helpful staff. It s also perfect located because in only 10min you can reach the little town. Nevertheless I think it was a bit overpriced. especially the food, which was twice or 3times as expensive as in town and not better in quality. Rooms vary a lot. Ours was a bit dark, but very big and the bathroom was great.

This rustic Villa was nice and private, unit 23 was probably the best situated on the rocks with the best views. The bar area was not very lively. I would have preferred a swimming pool rather than the fountain they had there. Maybe the water shortages prevent that. Lots of walking from beach to reception or restaurant but every walk is an adventure through the paths. I loved the snorkeling right from the beach, probably one of the best points.

We booked through an agent at the last minute. We weren t able to get a booking confirmation fast enough though and so we just arrived at the hotel and had to sort it out there. Luckily there was a room available.

酒店依山傍海，装修小有特色，海湾较小，沙滩较粗，多珊瑚碴，海水不清，但很浅处有鱼，建议要穿潜水鞋比较好。蚊子很多，几乎不能享受阳台。我住的是Deluxe Room，能看到海景，阳台大，洗手间和淋浴房大，但卧室不大。 早餐环境不错，直面大海，东西也算丰富可口。 酒店除了Check in & check out，其他员工都很和蔼周到。 下面要说说不好的地方。 在泰国的海岛住过的酒店也有近10家了，这家价格和酒店设施比算贵的，但却是让我们最不愉快的一家酒店。我们是4月4日到Koh tao的，而在3月底，苏梅发生了特大洪水，飞机停航了，在我们出发前，飞机刚刚恢复，和酒店也联系不上，我们差一点取消了行程。而且泰国官方也同意航班和酒店的退款。4月1日以后，天气渐渐好转，但不知灾后的情况和未来的天气，我们还是冒险来了涛岛，可想而知，酒店这段时间几乎没什么客人。我们很庆幸酒店的状况还不错。 因为Sawdee上提到这家酒店在有房的情况下可以提供免费升级，所以在Check in 的时候我们问了下是否可以升级，我们预订了三天，但没有得到升级，房间肯定很多空的，这让我们有点失望，但这还不算什么。我们同去的一个朋友没有预订，想在前台直接预订，前台提出的价格比Sawdee高了1000B，而且怎么也不肯以网上的价格给我的朋友，我们真是很纳闷，在游客这么少的情况下，怎么会这样，后来我们就在酒店大堂给Sawdee打电话下订，但需要在网上支付，这家酒店居然也不能免费上网，非让我们买了一张上网卡在前台上网支付，这才得以入住。前台经理一直在办公室里面不出来直接答复我们，一直是传话给前台小姐，非常傲慢的样子，让人很不舒服。 但是前台小姐还算好，比较耐心地带我们看了客房，还帮我在阳台上装了吊床。 Check out的时候也很让人不舒服，我们二大一小住一间，小孩的早餐要另算200B一天，但Check out却算作是大人的400B一天，如果事先不知道，就付了冤枉钱，有点欺人。另外，入住的时候只给我们一双室内拖鞋，为此我还提醒前台，我们只有一双，是否应该给两双，结果也没有得到两双，Check out的时候居然还质疑我们，说应该有两双拖鞋为何只有一双。 住这家酒店一定要小心，作为一个规模较大，价格较贵的酒店，让人觉得它非常小气。 中国的游记里很多人推荐这家酒店，这也是我选择它的原因，虽然当时发现它在“到到”上的排名一般，现在我终于知道了，我不会向我的朋友们推荐这家酒店，如果我再到这里，也绝不会再住这家酒店。 我们在涛岛上有5天时间，后来两天我们到了Tien og bay，那个海湾更大更好，水清沙白，沙子很细，走出去很远都很浅，也有各种鱼在珊瑚里。那个酒店的价格在Sawadee上比Charm churee高，我们虽然没有预订，但到了那里，因为这几天岛上游客很少，酒店给了我们更优惠的价格，那家酒店规模更大，更专业，海湾也更好，我更喜欢那里。

1、很好的地理位置，走到DOWN TOWN只要15分钟，沿途经过sensi酒店风景很美 2、我们住的SUNSET VILLA非常完美，无敌海景，超大露台，可以看日落看大海，连卫生间都是面朝大海，我们住的是34号（双人大床）和26AC（套二，可住4人，卧室还有一个小床，其实还可以多住一人） 3、酒店环境很原始，早上可见松鼠，猴子，蛇。。 4、无敌海景早餐是最美的享受，面朝大海。。。 5、如果没有风，酒店海滩是非常美的，有很多鱼适合浮潜，即使不浮潜，走在海边扔面包也有上百条小鱼游来。 6，划小舟出海也非常美，100泰铢一小时 7、非常美的酒店。 8、如果没有住到VILLA，一定要住面朝大海的DULEX ROOM，也是看海的，不过位置差一点。还是不错。

The rooms are unique and comfortable but the view is terrible. It is blocked by trees and no sunsets because it is in the bay which is a pity. The knowledge of the reception to book activities are not good as she is not from the area. No swimming pool which is a bummer. I was also surprised that the Jansom bay was dirty as we saw a large patch of garbage floating in but it was cleaned up by the guy in the kayak. The breakfast area is really unique and enjoyable. Location is great for walking to town but not for getting to the other more active town.

My wife and I were pleasantly pleased with pardon the pun THE CHARM at Charm Churee. The location of the resort is number one. We had dwelling called the rock room #35 which had an amazing location at one end at Jamson Bay. We later moved to Sunset villa- on the water (which was still in the throws of being completed - construction. my only negative comment would be- be prepared for some undulating walking to and from your room.

This is a lovely resort on a gorgeous private bay on Koh Tao. The location of the hotel was quite spectacular. We were picked up from the main pier which was convenient, and we were satisfied with the cleanliness and the quality of the rooms and facilities. We received a complimentary massage while we were there since it was the off season and the spa services were excellent. There were, however, some things that disappointed us during our 4 night stay. To start, the hotel staff speaks very little English and communication was quite difficult. We felt as though the staff were incredibly reluctant to help us out, even with small things like booking services at their own spa! and a couple times the front desk staff even rolled their eyes when we asked basic questions about the hotel or about the Island. We asked to rent scooters for the duration of the stay and were driven straight across the island to a place with poor quality rentals even though there was a good rental shop right down the road. I would not trust the recommendations of the hotel in the future. The food on the resort (other than the complimentary breakfast) is very overpriced although the quality is quite good. The internet was a complete rip off, close to 3 times as much as the next most expensive place we saw, and the computers are slow. Overall, a nice place, but we will not return. It was slightly overpriced even in the offseason and the unfriendly staff really turned us off. There are far better deals on the island!!

The location is superb, a short distance from the village and a very nice bay with clear water and lots of fishes. Good snorkel. Roome is confortable. Take some repellent for mosquitoes. there are many since the hotel is in the forest. Staff is very kind. Some problems to arrange taxi and contact with reception and spa. In general, a very good place to stay some days. I hope to go back.

Would recommend this gorgeous place to anyone! the service was wonderful, the villa was amazing and only 6 steps to the waters front! Outside shower and toilet was fantastic and so private, lovely to shower under the stars! Breakfast was great with the most incredible view a great way to start your day thats for sure. Only a short little walk into town if you want some cheaper local food and shop. Amazing, incredible, stunning are just a few words to describe our fantastic holiday at Charm Churee Koh Tao.

Very good location, private beach, you can snorkeling in Jansom bay, many tropical fishes and coral are waiting for you, porters and beach staffs are helpful. Every room can enjoy the sea view. We stayed there four days, two nights the rat visited our room, three lizards always stay on the glass outside and my wife said we lived in a zoo. All staffs are good, very good.

很好的酒店，我们选的beachfront的房间，31A和31B，景色很美，酒店的服务也很周到，免费的早餐也非常棒，距离TOWN的距离步行大约10-15分钟，饭后走走也非常不错。唯一就是因为酒店建在丛林间，小虫比较多，不过睡觉也有蚊帐。

- The Deluxe room (which I stayed for 3 nights)is perfect! Thai style furniture and facility are so beautiful. 2 large and clean balcony are lovely. - Breafast has many chioce. - The reception staff are extreme frendly and willing to help. - The location however is not as good as I expected. The room is faraway to get to the beach. Also, the Jamson bay is small and not clear as Sairee beach.

It is really a best resort I ever stayed. I do not need to go where else for snorkeling, just stayed in Jansom bay for a whole day. Our family of 5 stayed in the 2 bedroom sunset villa. We all loved the villa and would stay there again. Facilities were great, very unique which is what we liked. Snorkelling out the front of villa was fantastic and easy to do. Yes there were lots of stairs, but that s what you get in such a unique place like Charm Churee and the walk to villa was pleasant and fun. All the family loved it!

We spent five nights at CCV and were quite satisfied with our choice. The hotel is conveniently located in a less than 15 minutes easy walking distance to nearby town where you would find out shops, eateries and night life all around pier area. Our room was panorama(now deluxe)category in one of buildings which sets in lush growth of trees on hill. It s spacious, beautifully decorated in Thai style, clean and having a very comfortable bed with fine lines. The semi-open air screened balcony is huge where soft sitting chairs and beach beds were povided for lay back, sea view and Nan Yuan island were just in sight. We believe that our room was quieter with more privacy than villas and bungalowa at beach front and those on the rocks around. Breakfasts(included)were nothing so good but good enough in term of the freshness, selections and taste. Lunch served on beach and dinner at its place were pretty good and tasty, however, it would cost you three times dearer than if you eat in town. One tip for pictures lover, the dinner place is the best place in the hotel to shoot sun set. So, try to book a table at open air space along ring pillar(only two are the best)in case you re going to have dinner there and go earlier. The plus of CCV is its private beach(fee for visitor). Beach itself is not that great but sea water there was so clean really good for snorkeling, swimming and no problem for sun bath as well. During our entire stay, we had not encountered any unpleasant matters or concerns related to the hotel services and bad attitude of staff. Actually, they all were friendly and hard working employees. I guess that the most tough and physcial demanding job of the hotel belongs to Max, who is responsible for carrying heavy luggage on his shoulders to your room particular those around the beach about hundreds meter away from reception through many steps and a decent slope in a big hot and humid day while you re arrived and departing. Please tip him generously when he is done for you. Very likely, we will stay at CCV again when we revisit to Koh Tao.

The location is not very nice, it is a little bit far from street. It will take about 30 minutes to town-- mae haad beach. It is very quite there. The best reason to stay there I believe it is because of JASOM BAY, it is private beach of CCV. You can snorkel there, it is very convenient,good relax place. The receptionist is very friendly. However, the people who make up the room, I do not think they do their job earnestly.

Charm Churee Village has a different concept that I ve seen in Thailand in my 15 day trip (5 different resorts in 15 days). Wooden bungalows are very harmonic with nature. Since it s a big resort, some rooms are a bit far to beach and you have to climb very tiring slopes and steps when you want to back your bungalow from the beach. The beach is nice but not a marvellous one. The servise is very good and the staff are very very helpful.

Very romantic place. It is completely different from day-to-day reality of europen person. We had bamboo villa just by the sea on the boulders. Spectecular view restaurant, just relaxing. There was a wedding ceremony on the beach, so touching we even cried :)) Just not for older people - cause you need to go up and down by the hills.

This is a lovely resort, absolutley spotless with very polite and helpfulstaff. We had our 13 year old son with us and had booked a 2 bed beach front villa, which in reality was two villas each with one bedroom on top of each other,something we weren t entirely happy with but got used to. Apart from that the accomodation itself was spot on, very well decorated, the position on the beach wonderful.The Breakfast buffet was good and it was an easy 15 minute walk into town or a shorttaxi drive if you didn t feel like walking. The Elvis bar on the beach serves good lunchtime food however shuts early at 4 pm which was a bit disappointing, the free snorkels etc on the beach was a real plus. Overall we had a great time here and would definately recommend it, the only thing I would say is that there are a lot of steps! This was ok for us but anyone who struggles to walk would not do well here, lots of steps down to the beach if you are staying away from the beach or up the the restaurant, town or reception if like us you had a villa on the beach.

Very Myss hotel, but much climbing - nothing for the elderly or weak bones. The view from Villa Sunset magnificent. Very good breakfast and service. Snorlkings opportunities very well from Johnson Bay - the beach was small, but Myss. The actual bungalow - well equipped, but getting a bit tired - overpriced. The bed is extremely hard. Bed clothes clean, but smelled of sweat - probably the pillow or blankets in the sheets - that bothered me at night. Bungalows are not frequent, there are holes in the roof and the walls so it is easy for different animals to enter, but this is Eco hotel and maybe that is the point of living so close to nature as possible. Once again the night too costly in relation to the standard of bungalow. We stayed for the royal money in Kao Lak, but it is clear, so magnificent view we have not had Never operate!. Generally very pleasant stay in Charm Churee Resort and very nice people. I recommend the hotel to others for a great location: close to center and display the best snorkeling on the island.

My Husband and I have just had 11 nights at Charm Churee on Koh Tao and it was magic. We had a stunning Sunset Villa with outdoor living room which was just fantastic. Charm Churee has everything one could want for a beautiful relaxing Island holiday. The snorkelling in the private beach within Charm Churee was amazing and although we went out on a day s snorkelling trip we felt we saw more fish in this little bay right in our own resort. A great safe beach for children and the whole resort is very children friendly. Having mentioned that it was also lovely for us as a couple. The little village is only a 10 minute walk so if you want variety with food a walk into town is great for an evening meal. We will go back for sure.

We were very disappointed with this resort. They advertise as high end but were nowhere near that description. They also advertise themselves as rustic , read tired and old in need of major renovation . The 3 minute walk to the beach is down a cliff so if you are older or unfit then forget it. The food was very average. There were not enough sun lounges at the beach and unbelievably there were only 3 beach umbrellas. When I asked for one they told me the remaining umbrella was broken. I found the staff, with a few exceptions, to be lazy and rude. I have travelled in Thailand on many occasions and this is without a doubt the most terrible experience I have had. I would not recommend it. If for some reason you do however go make sure you take some waterproof shoes with you as the beach is coral and the sand very shelly and hard on your feet, and painful to walk on. The snorkels and masks provided by the resort are again old and some of the valves leak, they don t loan water proof shoes but sell them for 890 baht. For those of you who like to watch tv or a dvd there is no tv or dvd, and you have to pay for internet usage, no wifi. The positives are it is a 10 minute somewhat hilly walk to the town. The beach is private and there are some villas right on the beach.

The all photos presented on “Sawadee.com” is true. The staff is very friendly and good educated. We have got the bonus meal coupon for the 400 THB each for the dinner that was perfect too. The room cost is high for the low season but the quality is on the good level. On my opinion the hotel is not very good for the small child because there is no water pool and beach is in the coral sand what is dangerous. It is the very good hotel.

WE took the special offer of say 5 nights pay for four. We got and upgrade to a very nice room, but there are some negatives.. dark room, no TV and only a dvd that plays bird music which drove me insane, so I biught some DVD s in town and there are an enornous amount of stairs to climb to get around between the beach and breakfast area and the room and reception. You have to be fit to stay here. The beach is amazing, probably the best in thailand, and has lots of fish and snorkling opportunity. There is no pool here , which is a bit disappointing for the price you pay here. Breakfast is very good and served in a fantastic area with a lovely view of the bay. Can recommend persons to stay here.

Had a wonderful stay at Charm Churee! Stayed in a sunset villa right on the water. Could hear the water splashing on the rocks at night and watched the most beautiful sunsets from our verandah each evening. Found the resort very convenient as could walk to the township in less than ten mins and felt quite safe at all hours of the day. Loved snorkelling on the little resort beach among the coral - even saw a turtle close in on our last day. Breakfast overlooking the sea was also stunning. Will definitely be returning.

Super Lage und nachdem wir danach an der Sairee-beach waren wollten wir wieder zurück in die Jansom-bay. Wir hatten ausserdem gewaltig Glück und schwammen eine halbe Stunde neben einer Seeschildkröte! Gigantisches Erlebnis, da es wohl selbst auf auf Koh Tao sehr, sehr selten vorkommt - und das direkt in unserer Bucht! Ausserdem hatten wir ein paar Meter vor unserer Hütte einen Waran gesehen. Tierchen gibt es hier schon einige; aber selbst meine Frau kam bis auf die eine Spinne im Koffer bei der Abreise sehr gut zurecht. Kein Grund nicht hinzufahren - und wir hatten deswegen lange überlegt. Klasse Unterkunft; zu unserer Zeit (Mai 2010) bloss sehr, sehr warm. Ohne Klima geht nix, da Holzhütten. Hatten auch keine Mückenprobleme. Sehr schön und einzigartig: das Restaurant, da kann man sich toll auf den Boden lümmeln, direkt übers Meer gebaut. Auch Frühstücksbar mit Blick aufs Meer ist genial und habe ich so noch nirgendwo erlebt. Rundun: Klasse location an die man sich gewöhnen muss; aber dann nur noch liebt. Fantastic place to be. Жили на острове Тао в отеле Charm Churee Villa. Забронировали отель заранее через сайт asiahotels.ru, номер Panorama. Номер полностью оправдывал свое название - вид был ооочень красивый, настоящая панорама всей акватории и соседнего острова Нанг Юань. В номере было всё необходимое, мебель красивая - какая-то узорчатая - всё сделано под старину. Вместо телевизора у нас стоял DVD с колонками, можно было слушать как диски, так и mp3. Мы подключили мобильник через специальный вход и слушали музыку на полную громкость :) Кровать большая с пологом. Один минус был в этом номере - кондиционер висел над кроватью, прямо над головой, и как бы тише его ни делали, он всё равно нас продувал. Также в номере есть балкон на сваях, очень просторный, на котором располагаются 2 лежака, столик, кресла, холодильник с мини-баром, чайник и т.д. Отель расположен в собственной бухте на склоне холма, и все номера-бунгало усыпали этот склон. Так же у них есть свой пляж, с морем кишащих рыб разной красоты, к которому чтобы спуститься, нужно преодолеть крутые тропиночки… На пляжике есть лежаки, выдаются полотенца и маски с трубками. Это место считается лучшим для дайверов, поэтому сюда съезжается много людей, которые хотят посмотреть на сказочный подводный мир. С завтраками вообще отдельная история. :) Чтобы описать всё, что там было - и страницы не хватит. Может, конечно, я и преувеличиваю, но всё-таки это много для обычного завтрака. Там было много фруктов (манго, бананы, арбузы, дыни, помело, драгон-фрут и ещё некоторые, которых я не знаю, но с удовольствием попробовала), соки (хотя яблочный сок там не похож на яблочный, но всё-таки), разные сосиски, мясные блюда, свежая нарезка овощей, японская хухня в виде суши, пельмешков, для чая всякие пирожки, кексы, круассаны и ещё много всего... Мне этот отель очень понравился и очень бы хотелось в следующий раз приехать именно сюда!

Located on Hill Side, Seaview and just 2 minutes walk (200 metres) to the beach. There are two type of Eco (friendly) Room. The Medi - Thai and The Fusion - Thai.
The Medi - Thais are slightly smaller, but with private balcony, you would not feel uncomfortable. Its exterior looks Mediterranean with oriental touch inside. It also features panoramic windows in bathroom.
The Fusion - Thais are slightly roomier with "screened balcony" and wooden touch, The exterior looks very Thai, but the interior is somewhat modern. The decor for the bathroom is very stylish, but it is slightly in back of the room.
