I did a booking only for 4 nights in the beginning but in the end we have decided to stay 9 nights as we really loved Baan Talay!!! The location is perfect, noisy part of Chaweng beach but still close to the centre. All the stuff is very kind, polite and able to help with everything. Rooms are very clean and stylish decorated. I would love to come back and I can recommend this hotel for 100%. Thank you Baan Talay for wonderful stay in Koh Samui!

Stayed in the pool view room for 6 nights in February 2012. Absolutely loved it! Fantastic value for a beautiful room right on the beach! Staff were great, complimentary breakfast was good too. Pool and beach view rooms highly recommended over garden view, as they have recently been renovated.

This hotel is fantastic. Very weel located in the south of Chaweng beach, close to everything but in the quiet side of Chaweng. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. I would recommend anyone to try it.

Any issue you can have for your reservation or a mistake you made in the booking, you always can find people from sawadee to help you. They have an excellent communication with their customers. I love sawadee people !

Bokade med trädgårdsutsikt men blev uppgraderade till ett nyare rum men med utsikt mot en mur. Utsikten trist men vi valde att ta rummet för det var nytt och fräscht. All personal var vänlig och tillmötesgående men restaurangpersonalen pratade dålig engelska och var lite förvirrade. Det tog ofta lång tid innan de kom med menyn och tog upp beställningar. Poolen bra men hysterisk handduksutläggning på morgonen av främst tyska turister. Stranden framför vit och fin så badet var bra. Vi har en treårig pojke och små barn kan inte bada utan att man håller i dem hela då havet är livligt och mycket strömt. Det blir djupt direkt när man går i vattnet. Stilen på hotellet är inte typisk Thailändsk utan man har valt en lite stramare stil. Härliga liggbäddar i restaurangen vända ut mot havet.

We stayed at Baan Talay for 2 weeks, and We Loved the place. Nice room, very nice pool for the children. We liked the food at the restaurant. The staff was almost the best thing at the resort, very kind and lovely whit the children.

The umbrellas should have a larger diameter and higher. The safety box should be moved from wardrob to the toilet room and also in better height. Otherwise nothing to complain. Best regards Jan Ahlnas

Good location on Chaweng Beach. The AC in the room made us use earplugs because of the noice. The rooms were ok (garden view) but not great. Ok poolarea but with Chaweng right outside we didn´t use the pool at all. The restaurang is located just beside the Chaweng beach with a stunning view. The breakfast was excellent, buffé, but the eveningmeals we had were taken in Chaweng town right outside the hotel. Internet access is available, but they charge you for about 1THB/minute even thoug you have your own laptop.
