Accommodation and facilities:
Absolutely wonderful! We stayed here for 4 nights and therefore got a free upgrade, from a studio to a one-bedroom apartment. The room was very big with a lovely ocean view. The hotel itself has two pools, one main pool and a smaller roof pool. As a guest of Kantary Bay you may also use the facilities at their sister hotel, Cape Panwa Hotel, which is very luxurious. There s a free shuttle going there every 10 mins, but you can also walk in about 10 mins. Panwa Hotel has a private beach which is really nice and safe for swimming even in the wet season. The included breakfast is nice with a large range of food. The timber restaurant just down the road serves great and cheap food. The reception staff was VERY friendly and helpful! We (young couple) thought it was a bit far from everything, although the hotel does offer shuttles to and from Patong and Phuket Town and you can rent motorbikes just down the road. All in all an amazing stay and definitely worth the money!
