Unfortunately there are not enough accommodation options in Koh Kradan... Well, Koh Kradan resort is at the most beautifully part of the beach At the best beach!!! The water are light blue clrystal clear Amazing! We had an AC room (not beach front) No hit water AC from 18:00 to09:00 Electricity 24hr The room looks like one of the simplest Geist houses in Thailand But big The bathroom is basic basic basic Outside-expect a lot of moscitos everywhere!!! Especially when you take a shower or go to the toilet... The color of the water is brown... The restaurant serves several Thai dishes Reasonable prices But inconsistent taste and size ... Eventually... That s what you can get for 2000 Thb in Kradan... I wouldn t go to Ao niang whoch is far and isolated Wally s paradise is in the middle of the jungle No beach Many more moscitos... Other options are to pricy... Hope this helps...

We stayd in a Beach-Front-Bungalow with A/C. For this price you get in other regions of Thailand a 3-4 Star Hotel, here you get maximum 2 Star. So the Hotel is very overpriced. The Bungalow looks very old and very very used, only very basic equipped. The service at the reception desk was o.k., the staff speak English very well and is friendly. The service in the restaurant was indeed very bad, there are too many negative points, I cannot mention them all. Probably the owner does not know, what is going on in his restaurant, a big desaster. The island is a very nice and quiet place, very good for snorkeling.

Ön känns en aning för exploterad,dålig service på Kradan Beach Resort egen restaurang. Oangagerad personal som verkade mest glada när man avslutade måltiderna. Nä, det finns bättre öar. Denna ö har gått ner i attraktionsvärde de senaste 5-6 åren. Kommer inte att åka tillbaka hit, det finns betydligt bättre ställen än Koh Kardan. Men som en utflykts ö med kanske en övernattning funkar det!

the beach front bungalow was clean and nice. the restaurant was not welcoming at all(staff was unfrendly,dirty tables etc, food was ok), reception staff was also not friendly/welcoming,beaches in kradan could be extremly nice if they would be claner (a lot of rubish)...with some improvments the resort/island could be a true paradise

Excellent location directly on the beach but very poor quality of the bungalows (both aircon and fan). Would not recommend.

Really bad stay. The rooms were too basic, we paid 1200 baht a night and the standard was very low. The breakfast was gross, and the staff couldn t care less about the guests. Bad attitude, bad atmosphere. I will never go back. Location is great though.

We cannot recomend this hotel. It was old and dirty and their was rats on the roof on several bungalows. The restaurang had no breakfast to all the guests.We will nbever visit that resort again and we want you to warn other guests to go there.

Koh Kradan is beautiful, very quiet and beautiful clear water. The beach is quite narrow at high tide and there are trees all the way along providing lots of shade. There is a reef around 50m out that is accessible from the beach, although much of the coral is dead, there are lots of fish. I stayed in a beachfront fan room at Kradan Beach Resort, the rooms are spacious, simple and clean but it is the location that makes it great. I moved up to Kalume Resort for another few nights, simple wooden bungalows with fan for only 1,000 baht (electricity 24 hours). Kalume s bungalows were a little further back from the beach but better value for money. I took the Nok Air-Tigerline transfer to the island but would have got there an hour sooner if I had taken Kradan Beach Resort s transfer (a rep was waiting at the airport)

We liked the resort and the beautiful beaches a lot! We had a bungalow at the first row. Accually we moved to the one next to the first the last night beacuse we desidad to stay one moore night. In the last one there were no place to hang your clothes, so that was a minus. But the bungalows where clean and ok. Very hard bed, but thats the story allmost everywhere one the islands. Nice personal.

A beautiful little island with crystal blue water. The rooms were well like that, no closet where you could pack up some clothes. The shower under the sky did not look so fresh. The staff was not very pleasant. There was only one waitress who was nice and who could speak little English. The sea outside the resort is great for snorkling. A great many beautiful fish to see på.The only disadvantage of the island was all sightseenigboats that added to the beach.We are pleased with our stay there because it so beautiful on the island

We booked a Beach-Front-Bungalow with A/C.Everything looked very old and very used.The room is clean. This hotel is overpriced. For the quality you get here, you pay only 1000-1500 Thbt in other places of thailand and we stay in many other places in thailand before. But on Koh Kradan there is no alternative, if you want a room with a/c and if you not want pay more. The location is perfect for snorkeling.

Trots att stugan var sliten, stenhårda sängar, toa o dusch i starkt behov av renovering och mat som inte är den bästa vi ätit, var det tredje året i rad som vi besökte denna lilla ö. Allt pga den fantastiska miljön med snorkling direkt utanför stugan, lugnet och glest med folk på stranden. Kommer säkert att återvända något annat år!

Albergo sotto le nostre aspettative. La stanza era decisamente spartana (arredata solamente con il letto e una panca) e infestata dalle formiche. Quando abbiamo fatto presente il problema degli insetti alla reception sono venuti armati di baygon e ne hanno eliminate la maggior parte, ma l‘aria in bagno e‘ rimasta irrespirabile per i due giorni successivi. Il personale era svogliato e lento, per avere un caffe‘ c‘era da aspettare anche 20 minuti e in tre giorni di soggiorno non abbiamo visto neanche un sorriso. L‘unica salvezza era la bellezza della spiaggia e del mare, ma la mia opinione e‘ che possa valere la pena spendere qualcosa in piu‘ e andare in un resort differente.

Koh Kradan is the most beautiful island in the Trang. With an area of 600
acres. most of the island (5/6) is under the jurisdiction of Hat Chao Mai
National Park. The rest are privately owned rubber and coconut plantations.
The island offers good restaurants and accommodation for tourists.
The most striking feature of Koh Kradan is its powdery, White beach
and crystal clear water that permits a great view of the coral reef underneath
that stretches from the beach s northern end to the coast. A variety of
colorful fish inhabit the shallow water corals. Koh Kradan is to the west
of Koh Muk and Koh Libong. From Pak Meng Pier, visitors can take a l.30
- hour trip to Koh Kradan.
It is the place for "The Underwater Wedding Ceremony", to remind
the rest of the world that the Underwater Wedding Ceremony take place in
Trang province every Valentine's Day at Kradan island, with its pure white
sand, clean blue sea and natural environment, is the location where the
ceremony is taken place.
Partly due to its widely publicized "Largest Underwater Wedding Ceremony" which earns it an entry in the Guinness Book of Records, Koh Kradan is now one of the best known islands.
The innovative 'weddings underwater' first launched in 1997, is now an annual Valentine's Day event which attracts more people every year, who sign marine marital commitments in Scuba gear at a depth of 12 meters.
