Accommodation and facilities:
We stayed 3 nights at the Andalay Resort. The service is very good and the rooms are very nice. I think it is a bit overpriced in high season. The rooms are very close to the main road, so it is sometimes very noisy.

I can´t do anything but commplain. I´ve lived here before when it just opend. and everething then was perfect. This year it was new staff and they wasen´t helpfull at all. The room was a suiet but it was disscusting. It was dirty and it was mould on the sofa and the bathrum was filled whit all kinds of insects and other animals. And the cleaning was poorely. The pool was green when we arrived, so the manager put som powder in and i slovley changed color.It was 3 crabs in the pool that we had too take out. I hand 3 children with me and, the was also very dissapointed.Because the last time it was so good. We had to change hotel. Sorry but I can´t rrecommend this hotel anymore-

When look into the internet site the place looks amazing, needless to say that like many other resorts reality is somehow different. Service was very slow and the facilities are not in a good shape, the beach is beautiful and the location of Andaly is a good one

We loved our week at Andalay Lanta, the resort was exactly as pictured on the website. The staff couldn t do anything more to make our stay, a holiday to remember. We will definately go back to Andalay Lanta. The only small issue was the hot and cold water in the shower, however you expect those sort of things when staying on an island.

The resort is ideally located as a base for diving and snorkeling excursions to the neighboring islands

The Andalay Boutique Resort comprises 16 rooms offering sea view and/or pond views.
All rooms are located close to the beach front.
Minimalist in style with thoughtfully designed furnishings and equipped with essential amenities,
each villa presents guests with a modern form of Thai living.

The Andalay Cottage rooms are decorated in a modern Thai style

Two Andalay Cottage rooms connect making them ideally suited for families.

The Andalay Boutique Resort is located on the west coast of the island of Koh Lanta Yai
and occupies beachfront property by the Andaman Sea.
The island is part of Krabi Province in Southwest Thailand
and is located approximately 75 km south of Krabi town.

- Krabi is an 80 minute flight away from Bangkok. The transfer from Krabi airport to the Andalay Boutique Resort by private minivan + ferry takes approx. 2.30 - 3 hrs. (crossing by car-ferry).
- Trang is a 90 minute flight away from Bangkok. Trang airport is the second nearest airport to the resort. The transfer from Trang airport to the Andalay Boutique Resort by private minivan + ferry only takes 3 - 3.30 hrs. (crossing by car-ferry).
- Phuket is a 90 minute flight away from Bangkok. Travel from Phuket airport to the Andalay Boutique Resort by private van + ferry takes approx. 4 – 5 hrs.; by ferry takes approx. 2.30 hrs.; and by speedboat takes approx. 1.30 hrs depending on weather conditions.
