Accommodation and facilities:
The hotel was not as nice as expected. It was really expensive compared to other hotels with the same quality!Location was right at the beach, but so are most hotels at Koh Lanta. We stayed at similair hotels for half the price and they where of the same standard.

The Maya koh Lanta Resort was fabulous. The rooms are big and beautiful and the pool is right on the beach - I had such a relaxing time, with such a beautiful view. The breakfast was simple, but adequate - could ve been a bit better. But on the upside the pizzas are the best I ve ever tasted!!! Will definitely stay here again!

What a lovely hotel, small, I think about 19 rooms. The rooms are huge and immaculately clean we loved them. This hotel is literally on the beach, lie in the pool and check the ocean out. Breakfast, ask for what you want and they will accommodate. Staff were really friendly and organised lots of things for us. We love Koh Lanta, been there once before, and found that it hasn t changed as much as we thought it would have. Go to Saladan Market for amazing seafood in the eveing, all the locals also go. Try the Brit Pub, nice lady owener. A must is the Fat Monkey Restaurant, what a nice guy - thanks Will you made us really welcome. All in all a really good stay - no complaints. Bruce and Kathy
