Suanthip Vana Resort

Suanthip Vana Resort is amongst Chiang Rai mountains allowing guests to enjoy the nature. The resort offers different types of room from Deluxe Suiteb to Pkakeryor Villa. The Lanna style pavilions are decorated with teakwood and local arts and equipped with amenities to make your stay comfortable. The private hill tribe like villa is constructed with sand walls and designed to keep guests breezy by day and cozy by night. Dine at the Toke Kham and enjoy the mountain scenery while both Thai and international cuisines are prepared. Whether you want to enjoy a relaxing afternoon, a pre-dinner get together or after dinner drink with easy listening music, the Wawi Bar offers it all. Other services and facilities provided by the resort are free wi-fi at the Lobby, conference and function rooms, laundry services, shuttle and parking services, sauna, and swimming pool, massage, butler service and even meditation training.

Accommodation and facilities:
This was the second time we have stayed at this resort outside of the peak season and from my families perspective it suits our needs perfectly. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Given the remote location of the resort and position between the facilities are exactly what you need – large rooms, clean pool, good food and well maintained but you need a car or other form of transport if you are looking to use the resort as a base for further travel. Go off peak when there are only a few other visitors and you get the whole pool area to yourself and as such the resort provides a calm, tranquil alternative to Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai. Great location if you are looking to get away from everything, switch off and enjoy some piece and quite.

Reservation service:
Having checked the prices on a number of booking websites Swadee.com was definitely the best value for money and we used the site for 2 out of three resorts/hotels we stayed in during our two week trip. Will definitely use again.

Surround by soothing habit, the resort also offer six separated hill-tribe villas with private balconies, composed of the local. Materials of wood, sand, decorative straws and leaves. The outdoor shower and bath-sheltered by red palm, banana leaves, and Heliconia-provide a calm place of renewal; and the wooden deck provides a place to survey the valley landscape.
