If you travel without your own car; on arrival at “Koh Chang” share taxis wait to take passengers to the beaches and resorts. When you leave the ferry; turn right to the street of the island. By car you reach the resort at the Coconut Beach after a trip of 20 minutes and with three ferries you can reach the island within 30 minutes. Strandbungalow war sehr sehr schön und geräumig. Reinigung erfolgte täglich - irrsinnig schnell und effizient. Frühstücksbüffet war auf Thailänder ausgerichtet. Für den europ. Geschmack zuwenig Abwechslung, hätte mir mehr Obst und Gemüse erwartet - es gab lediglich Ananas, obwohl die Vielfalt vorhanden ist. Störend war der abendliche Alleinunterhalter im Restaurant ( wie man so derartig laut und falsch singen kann!!!) er hat täglich sein Programm ( natürlich immer die gleichen Musiknummern) gespielt. Daher waren wir nie im Restaurant essen, die Speisekarte war jedoch sehr ansprechend. Der Strand ist nicht so toll. Es gibt keine Liegen. Nur Sessel . Keine Schrime, jedoch Bäume.

Nice and friendly staff, even if their english is not the very best. if you stay in one the beachfront Villas you will have a nice stay and wonderful view, just three meters to the sandy beach. Coconut BR has a lot of Thai guests and that gives the stay even more exotic. not so many european or russian guests. This was the second time we stayed at Coconut BR and we will be back. But they have to do something about the pool. Last time the pool was clean and clear. This time it was almost yellow!

отличный отель по соотношению цена-качество. Прекрасный пляж. Хорошие завтраки. Проживали в номере вилла1 - немного темноватый номер, плохо работал слив в раковине. Номер 006 - вилла1. Прекрасный отзывчивый персонал отеля. Огромное спасибо работнику рецессии за помощь в бронировании трансфера из отеля до аэропорта. Чудесная территория, хоть и небольшая, но очень уютная и вся утопает в зелени. Неплохая уборка номеров. Мы бы с удовольствием еще раз посетили бы этот отель.

Неплохое месторасположение отеля относительно главной дороги - в 100 метрах супермаркет, аптека,банк,обменник,торговые лавочки с тряпочками, сувенирами, есть большой ювелирный магазин, на выбор несколько кафешек.По пляжу - у Парадайз или Клонг-Прао получше будет,но это мои придирки:), сюда приходят с соседних гестхаусов, аппартаментов, у которых нет своей территории, это немного напрягало..и почему-то на всей территории почти нет мусорных баков/пепельниц..В целом отель неплохой, берет своим месторасположением, отличным обслуживанием

Отель неплохой, но довольно старый. Мы жили в основном здании (Standard Building), которое расположено прямо у дороги, поэтому там было ужасно шумно, приходилось спать с берушами. Номера просторные и светлые, с балконами, которые опять же выходят на дорогу, и от этого их ценность сходит на нет. В номере нет фена, есть только мыло, шампунь и кондиционер. Полотенца меняли каждый день, убирались хорошо. Постельное белье дешевое (обычно белое сатиновое, а тут была бязь болотного цвета). Завтраки разнообразные, с 6.30 до 10.30, вкусные, ресторан на берегу моря очень приятный. По вечерам была живая музыка и фаер-шоу. Территория отеля симпатичная, дорожки староваты, но в целом впечатление приятное. Полоса пляжа неширокая, вечером сильный отлив - море уходит метров на 20-30, в отливе купаться нельзя - вода грязная, полно медуз. Пляж неплохой, живописный, много зелени, довольно тихий. Ресторанчики закрываются уже в 23.00, а некоторые и раньше, вечером просто приятно пройтись по берегу. Рекомендую брать бунгало супериор, тогда отдых точно будет на 5+!

We were not enthousiastic about coconut beach, found it much to expensive for what it offers. staff is very friendly but not capabel. We would not recommend it. We liked the neigbours better, Chai chet resort, more quality for money. ofcourse this is our personal opinion.

We were thrilled with our stay at Coconut Beach Resort. Because it was a holiday weekend we were only able to book the back building, but the rooms were wonderful. We loved the beach, the pool, the breakfast (!!!) and the hospitality. We actually ate most of our meals at the hotel, and they were all wonderful and well-priced. Even though the resort was fully booked, it was mostly families who appeared to be having a wonderful time.

Vi, en familj med två barn på 13 och 16 år, bodde en vecka över jul på Coconut Beach resort. Vi bodde i två dubbelrum på övre våningen och bredvid varandra. Det var fina rum och sängen inte så hård. Badrummet var utomhus , var lite öppet ut, det var fräscht och fint. Hotellet ligger på stranden. Stranden är fin, men liten yta på morgonen eftersom det är högt vatten då. Det finns gott om stranstolar. Frukosten var bra och restaurangen serverar god mat, lite rörigt ibland med personalen. Vid den veckan vi var där var det mycket svenskar på hotellet. Nackdelen med vårt boende var att på baksidan byggdes ett nytt hotell som förde lite oljud samt att soptunnorna tömdes tidigt på morgonen också på baksidan av vårt boende. Finns några restauranger på stranden och på gatan bakom hotellet samt en del affärer. vill man ha mer shopping får man åka till White Sand med songthaiw (kostar ca 5o baht/person). Annars är vi nöjda och kan rekommendera hotellet.

Отель очень понравился, останавливаемся в нем второй раз. Красивая, ухоженная зеленая територрия. Хорошие завтраки (несколько горячих блюд на выбор, бывают даже котлеты. Чистый песчаный пляж. Есть один минус - это мидузы, но и они бывают не всегда (видимо зависит от фазы луны), в день нашего приезда и еще 3 дня их было очень много, но через 3 дня они совершенно исчезли как будто их и не было.

We had a pleasant stay at Coconut Beach Resort! The room, Thai Villa, was quite worn and uncharming (and with very uncomfortable bed and pillows) but the pool was very nice and the staff was excellent. We were always greeted with smiles from the staff, who was very helpful. The breakfast was poor but the other meals served at the restaurant were superb!

Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber, Hauspersonal Spitze. Essen gut und das Personal auch freundlich. Leider negativ ist, Wege sind uneben, Stiegen haben keinen Handlauf, auch nicht im Pool. Keine Poolbar, keine Liegen. Ich würde sagen, für ältere oder leicht behinderte Leute nicht zu empfehlen.

No phones in the rooms, no room service, no pool bar, they just hand out towels. No sun loungers anywhere. The restaurant closes at 10 pm (lights out). The paths in the resort are artificially made uneven and rough, including a totally decayed wooden bridge. No handrails anywhere, not even at the pool, but lots of steps everywhere. No credit cards accepted, no money exchange. You want to speak the manager, he is not in. I was glad to be back home.

Жил в Wanishapool, старое здание, ужасное постельное бельё и много комаров в номере. Каждый день перед сном просил на ресепшене потравить комаров. За корпусом находится болото, которое периодически воняет канализацией, похоже отель выводит туда нечистоты. За эти деньги можно найти отель гораздо лучше.

Klong prao är en lugn och trevlig strand och när vi var där var det inte alls mycket folk. Vi kan tänka oss att åka tillbaka.
