Accommodation and facilities:
We stayed in the deluxe concrete bungalows (A8,9,10 and 12). These are a little away from the beach, but we were OK with it. Excellent bungalows with lush greenery around. Very relaxing environs. Mosquitoes can be pesky and seen to bother most during dusk, but this is a problem common to Ko Samed. Excellent breakfast and service. They changed breakfast menu everyday - so it was very good. Sunset and sunrise views near the resort was breathtaking and not to be missed.Staff very friendly and helpful. They arranged a special dinner for us on the beach on our final day at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend the resort. Sawadee gave us excellent service and choices of hotels during booking

Excellent rating, hotel treated in a very beautiful tropical garden, very good bungalow. negative one little kindness to reception, recommended otherwise, even sure if a back-ko samet booking the same hotel

Accommodation and facilities:
The beach is beautiful but don t expect much by way of great food or friendly service. Everything comes in by boat. [Grandma s chicken on the beach was the best.] People are barely attentive to your needs as oppossed to the Courtyard Marriott in Cha Am where you felt like family. Once you are off the resort you are back in a third world country but we spent a week at Vongdeun Resort and enjoyed the Thai house and beach.

Only service to be able to book this hotel. We saw it on Hotels.com but it was not on line when we decided to go about 3 days before we booked. Service was good

| Vong Deuan Resort is located on one of the Top Ten most
beautiful beach in the world, Samed where one can be closed to nature.
Koh Samed is located in Rayong Province in Eastern part of Thailand.
Only 2.5 hours drive from Bangkok to Ban Phe. You can either take a
taxi of Bus from Bangkok at Eakamai Bus Terminal. From Ban Phe, there
are regular shuttle boat service and also 24 hours speed boat service.
Just 45 minutes by a shuttle boat and 15 minutes by speed boat . Vongdeuan Beach as its name mean "Moon Crescent" is famous for its moon-crescent shape bay with a crystal clears water and white sandy beach. Vongdeuan Resort is located on the seclude central of the beautiful Vongdeuan Beach. Your holidays will be fulfilled here. The sunrise at Vongdeuan beach is spectacular and unforgettable. |
