Accommodation and facilities:
We stayed at your Hotel room N0 423, from 31st March to 3rd April 2012 (3 nights) the 2021616.2824 at Manohra Hoetel. We were very disappointed with the condition of the room in which we stayed. The following are some of the major disturbing facts of the room: (1) The room was infested with insects, everytime we switched the lights in the room or bathroom insects could be seen running waay to their hiding places. This is very unhygieneic. (2) The mattress on the bed was so old ans worn out that the springs were digging into our backs causing my wife and myself very uncomfortable night sleeps and backaces. (3) The Safe in the room did not work it caused me inconvience to go and deposit my valuables at the reception desk. (4) The noise made during the night by people shouting and banging of the doors also caused us inconvience and disturbing nights. (5) The drain in the sink in the bathroom was disgusting with awful smell coming from it everytime the water tap was turned on and it went through the drain. (6) The Tub in the bathroom was very dirty, it was as if it had not been cleaned properly for ages. (7) The drain in the bathroom was blocked, the water was very slow to drain through the drain and it also gave an unbearable odour smell. (8) The water in the bathroom taps: When we selected the water to come from the shower it kept on coming from the bathroom tap as well and the shower giving very low flow in the shower, we were unable to have a proper shower. (9) The bell boy who came to collect our luggage on the departure day was so rude that he expected me to load our suitcases on the trolley and when taking the luggage away he took the room key out of its holder without telling us. We wasted time to locate the key till we discovered that the bell boy had taken it without our permission. All the above faults were reported to the cleaning lady and no action was taken. Bearing in mind the above facts I will be grateful if I can be refunded some of the money paid by me to stay in your Hotel. Please refund the money back into my credit card the details of which are available with you when I made the initial payment. Please acknowledge receipt of this email and action somesort of reasonable compensation for the inconvience caused to us by the above disturbing facts.

Unusable pool. Only 1 English TV channel. Did not venture to try the food. Nothing there, but a 5 minute walk to decent street. 10-15 minute walk to skytrain. Shower kept switching on its own from hot to cold. Roaches in the room. Easy access to highway for a quick exit to airport.

Some of the staff was very pushy from the start, demanding to know when I was going to the government tourist center to sign up which I found out to be a travel agent wanting to sell me tours. I was constantly being offered something for a charge. The internet rate absurdly high 300 Bht hr. 1000 Bht key deposit, then had to waited thirty minutes for the deposit refund while my room was checked. Did not enjoy the stay at all. I changed hotels immediately. Its about making customer service not customers dollars! Eye catching hotel BUT not worth the the constant baggering for money

Nice budget hotel, the pool was very small.. Really annoying drivers out front, close to 7/11 and nanas... The room was loud beware! Safe deposit and mini bar was great and the roof terrase was very urban...

After spending 29 consecutive nights at this hotel, I was happy to share my experiences with you readers. Starts from hotel front desk, bell boys, waiters, cleaning maid down to the room service staffs etc. They were friendly and efficient. They respond promptly to my needs. Although this hotel is more than 50+ yrs, it s well maintained and clean and everything inside the room functions perfect. The location is perfect for me as I like to take boat than taking a car. The Oriental pier is less than 10 mns walk. The area is easy to find Thai foods stalls where the locals dine along the alley less than 40ft away from the right side of the hotel. On the left side, you ll find some upper-class Thai restaurants like Jay Ngor Gor la gate in tree lined street less than 120ft from the hotel. The location is a hit among my Thai friends since it next to the toll way, plenty of parking at the hotel lot. It s very convenient and easy for them to come to see me. Already two of them had asked how to book this hotel, I told them just book through Sawasdee.com

A pleasant surprise - well maintained for an older hotel, reasonably quiet, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff. Walking distance from the river water taxi, and the skytrain is walkable although not conveniently so. The pool is pretty public, right beside the lobby and restaurant, and I never saw anyone use it. Very good value for the money - would stay here again.

The location near the Chao Phaya river and Silom Area is very good. Some facilities are a little old. But it is very ok for the price. The breakfast can be poor -a lot of things missing - when you come late. WiFi is very,very expensive.

Мы семьей из 3-х человек проживали в Manohra Hotel с 23 по 27 октября 2010 года. Гостиницу выбрали исходя из не высокой цены и ее месторасположения. Она находится в шаговой доступности (15-20 минут) до Моста Таксина, где от пристини отходят катера и через 15 минут и 14 баттов с человека можно добраться до исторического центра Бангкока.А еще рядом с гостиницей находятся множество ювелирных магазинов, где мы и сделали основные покупки для себя и своих близких. За скромную цену мы получили неплохого качества услуги. Завтраки достаточно разнообразны. Маленький бассейн, который находится в гостинице, смотрится как часть интерьера, а не как реальный. Мы не видели, что бы в нем кто-то плавал, да и сами не рискнули. Вывод такой: не плохая бюджетная гостиница.
